“Informative class, very nice and clean learning environment, nice range.”

This place rocks for so many reasons. Unlike so many gun shops/ranges, Smokin Gun Worx is super friendly and welcoming to everyone, regardless of age, gender, knowledge, and experience. There’s no “gun bro” culture there. SGW is bright, well-lit, and very clean. They’ve got a huge selection of firearms available, along with the expertise to explain anything you may have questions about. Their staff provides outstanding customer service whether you’re shopping for a firearm, having one serviced by their outstanding in-house gunsmith, or sharpening your skills on one of their two 5-star ranges. By the way, I’ve visited quite a number of shooting ranges across the country, and I can tell you the ranges at SGW are the nicest and best ventilated ranges I’ve ever seen. I’m only giving SGW 5 stars because Google won’t let me give 10. The place is great, and so are the people who work there.

“Great Class! Nice Range.”

As a new shooter at 25+ years old, I’m so grateful I happened across this place. I was upfront with my RSOs and asked them not to hesitate if they had any advice for me, and boy, did they deliver. My first session was with my grandpa and my first time at a gun range. RSO Steve showed me the proper way to hold and handle a revolver and semi-automatic pistol. He also helped me adjust my stance to be more stable. I went from shakily shooting my first shots to confidently firing them on target by the end of the session. My second session was today with my brother. RSO Greg reiterated proper revolver handling with us and gave some great feedback that helped me start to hone my grouping. He happily answered several of my questions and cut some funny jokes along the way. By the end of my second 1-hour session, I was consistently hitting some groupings I was very happy with. Both Steve and Greg were very friendly and made me feel a lot safer and more confident with a firearm. Truly some great guys to have as RSOs, and I appreciate them immensely. I look forward to coming back soon!
