Illinois Conceal Carry Class
Get Your Concealed Carry Requirements
If you are looking at acquiring your Illinois concealed carry license this is the class for you. We will go over all of the basic firearm safety rules as well as proper shooting techniques, including Federal and State laws that go with having your CCL. Illinois requires a two day course (unless you have a concealed carry permit for certain approved states only, are active duty/retired military, or have your NRA Basic Pistol, ask for details).
The first day we will cover all of the firearm safety and handgun basics. The second day we will cover all of the legal aspects.
We recommend that you use a concealed carry type of firearm and that you practice at 5, 7 and 10 yards with the firearm you will be using in class. Firearm must be a semi-auto or double action.
On Saturday please bring a pen and notepad for taking notes, holster and firearm. On Sunday you will again need a pen and notepad, eye, ear protection, holster, brimmed hat, closed toe shoes, your firearm, and a minimum of 30 rounds of ammo. Bring your firearm UNLOADED & in the case. DO NOT bring your firearm in the holster. Your firearm must be a semi-auto or a double action.
